Appointments and Scheduling

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Yes, we offer same-day appointments whenever possible, so your pet can be seen without a long wait.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can request an appointment online or by calling our clinic directly. Our team is happy to help find a time that works for you.

How often should my pet have a wellness exam?

This varies by pet. Younger and older pets are typically seen more frequently, while healthy adult pets may need fewer visits per year. Your veterinarian can recommend a schedule based on your pet’s individual needs.

Vaccines and Preventative Care

What vaccines does my dog need?

Rabies vaccination is required by Pennsylvania state law. Distemper, parvo, and leptospirosis are considered core vaccines, and we often recommend Bordetella and Lyme vaccines as well, depending on your dog’s lifestyle.

What vaccines does my cat need?

Rabies vaccination is required by law for cats too. We also recommend distemper and feline leukemia vaccines for most cats.

Dental Care

Why does my pet need a dental cleaning?

Over 80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of dental disease by age three. Left untreated, dental disease can increase the risk of heart, kidney, and liver disease in addition to causing pain.

How do I know if my pet has dental disease?

Common signs include bad breath, red or bleeding gums, dropping food while eating, chewing on one side, and pawing at the mouth. Pets are skilled at hiding pain, so subtle changes are worth mentioning to your veterinarian.

Behavior and Health Changes

I've noticed a change in my pet's behavior. Should I see a vet?

Yes. Behavior changes can sometimes signal an underlying health issue, and a wellness exam or behavioral consultation is a good first step toward figuring out what’s going on.

Boarding and Grooming

Can I check on my pet while they're boarding?

Yes. Our boarding kennels are equipped with webcams so you can see your pet during their stay whenever you’d like.

Do you groom cats as well as dogs?

Yes. We welcome cats and dogs of all ages for grooming services, including baths, trims, nail care, and more.
